Quo Vadis is a Canadian band from Montreal . Their music is characterized by Melodic Death Metal , Technical Death Metal and Progressive Metal and is characterized among other things by rhythmically demanding (guitar) parts (e.g. unusual time signatures or changes in the same).

history

Quo Vadis were founded in Canada in 1992. A demo album was recorded in 1995 and the debut album Forever was released a year later . To date, Quo Vadis is largely unknown in Europe. A tour in the opening act for Kataklysm changed this in early 2007.

In July 2008 the band broke up after the guitarist Bart Frydrychowicz, the singer Stéphane Paré, the drummer Yanic Bercier and bassist Dominique Lapointe left the band for various reasons. With a new line-up, the band is currently recording a new album and has released a new song called Obitus .
