Quodlibet (Publisher)

Quodlibet is an Italian publisher based in Macerata .

The publishing house was founded in 1993 by Gino Giometti and Stefano Verdicchio in Macerata and has quickly made a name for itself as a small independent book publisher with a concise program in the field of philosophy. The publisher's authors include such well-known names as Giorgio Agamben , Gianni Carchia , Gilles Deleuze and Enzo Melandri . In addition to philosophy and art criticism, another focus of the publishing program is contemporary literature, with translations into Italian by German-speaking authors such as Ingeborg Bachmann , Hugo von Hofmannsthal , Max Scheler , Jacob Taubes , Robert Walser and Ludwig Wittgenstein being published.
