Roman theater of Naples

The Roman Theater of Naples (Italian Teatro romano di Neapolis or Teatro romano dell'Anticaglia ) is a Roman ancient theater in the historic center of Naples . It is almost completely built over with residential buildings, but today you can also visit parts of the theater located under the residential buildings.

The theater is bordered to the north by Via Anticaglia, to the east by Vico Giganti and to the west by Via San Paolo. The Vico Cinquesanti leads directly through the ancient theater.
