Withdrawal route

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In the linguistic usage of the fire brigade, the retreat route is the route that a troop takes back towards the starting point. It is of central importance for intrinsic safety if you have to retreat during fire fighting.

In the case of an internal attack with breathing protection in smoky rooms, it should be calculated twice as long as the way there. The same applies to the air supply in the breathing apparatus. If visibility is poor, the retreat can be recognized by the troop using the hose line or the fire line .
