Marcel Cravenne

Marcel Cravenne (born November 22, 1908 in Kairouan , Tunisia , † December 6, 2002 in Paris , France ) was a French film director . He also used his maiden name Marcel Cohen .

Life

While his brother Georges (1914–2009) was a well-known film journalist and publicist in France, Marcel Cravenne drew as a film director for numerous literary adaptations such as Gustave Flaubert's Education of the Heart , The Scarlet Letter , The Island of 30 Coffins , The Lily in the Valley and Edouard Peissons Hans le marin responsible. The theater adaptation of August Strindberg's dance of death was also one of his works.
