Rudiger Hoth
Rüdiger Horst Hoth (born October 16, 1940 in Wiek , Rügen, Pomerania Province) is a German civil engineer.
Career
When the restoration of the Berlin Cathedral , which had been badly damaged in World War II , began, Hoth was hired as master builder. In many negotiations with the government of the GDR, he managed to have the cathedral largely reconstructed according to the original designs by Julius Raschdorff . In June 1993 the extensive work was completed. Hoth retired in late November 2005.
