history
In 1995 UAB “Ekovalda” was created. In 1999 the Swedish "ICA AB" bought 50% shares. In 2000 "Rimi" ("Supermarket") was created. "Hyper Rimi" has been around since 2001. In 2002 "ICA AB" had 100% shares in "Ekovalda". Since 2002 it has been "Rimi Lietuva". In 2003 the first retail center "Rimi Hypermarket" was built. In 2004 all trading centers became “Rimi Hypermarket”.
