The SFM 101-106 were express locomotives of the Strade Ferrate Meridionali (SFM).
history
The six double-coupled locomotives were delivered by Brassey, Canada Works in Birkenhead in 1863 . They were intended to rejuvenate the vehicle fleet of the Strada Ferrata di Cavaliere Bayard , which was incorporated into the SFM in 1862. At the SFM they were given the road numbers 101-106.
In 1885 the machines came to the Rete Mediterranea (RM), which they referred to as 2421-2426.
The Italian State Railways (FS) included them in their 1101-5 series in 1905 (first line), but soon retired them.
