Reasonable Optical Near Joint Access ( RONJA ) is a wireless LED -based network connection with currently 10 Mbit / s in both directions ( duplex ). The maximum range is given as 1.4 km. All do-it-yourself documentation is available under the GNU Free Documentation License . RONJA is a Twibright Labs project .

RONJA was created entirely with freely available tools. Anyone can see the plans and make improvements. RONJA was the first freely available optical radio relay system and has meanwhile proven itself in many locations.
