RealTimeOperatingSystem-UniversitätHannover (RTOS-UH) is a realtime operating system for automation technology . It was developed in 1985 by the RTOS-UH team at the Institute for Automatic Control at the Leibniz University in Hanover and is now being looked after and further developed by various engineering offices.

Due to its compactness, it can mainly be found in the embedded areas from system-on-a-chip (one-chip system) to complex VME systems.
