Raúl Fuentes Cuenca (born February 9, 1975 in Vitoria-Gasteiz , Álava , Spain ) is a Spanish pop singer, known by his stage name Raúl . He became known in 1999 for a Spanish talent show. In 2000 he participated with the song Sueño su boca in the Spanish preselection for the Eurovision Song Contest and came second. Since then he has released several albums in Spain. He is little known outside of Spain. In 2014 he again took part in the Spanish qualification for the Eurovision Song Contest . With the song Seguir sin ti , he took fourth place.
