Raul Chanes

Raúl Chanes is a retired Mexican soccer player who started out in midfield before serving as a defender for most of his playing career .

career

Chanes may have started his career at Club Atlas , where he was still in midfield. Around 1960 he moved to the UNAM Pumas , with whom he won the second division championship in 1962 and rose to the top division . With the Pumas he was under contract until the 1965/66 season and played 106 games. He then moved to Club Deportivo Guadalajara , where he ended his active career in the 1966/67 season.
