Rabochaya Gazeta

Rabotschaja Gazeta (German workers' newspaper ) is the name of a daily newspaper that was the central organ of the Menshevik party in Russia.

The Rabochaya Gazeta was published in Petrograd (St. Petersburg) on ​​7/20. March 1917 to November 30th / 13th December 1917. The newspaper took the position of defense of the fatherland, supported the Provisional Government and fought against the Bolshevik Party.

It took a decisive position against the October Revolution and the establishment of the Soviets . Soon after the latter came to power, it was banned by a decision of the Petrograd Revolutionary Military Committee . Later she appeared for some time under the titles Sarja , Klitsch , Plamja , Fakel , Nowy Lutsch and others.
