Rachel Anne Moore

Rachel Anne Moore (* 3. March 1985 in Seattle , Washington as Rachel Anne Currie ) is an American opera singer ( soprano ) and musical actress.

Life

Moore studied opera singing at Indiana University , where she graduated in 2007. She then completed a master's degree at the University of Tennessee , which she graduated in 2010. During her studies she already had various engagements in the opera and among other things worked in the Studio Artist Program of the Knoxville Opera .

Moore sang in various operas and musicals in the USA, such as Street Scene , The Student Prince and Rigoletto .

Her role as Carlotta in Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera made her popular in Germany. It was her first musical role. She played it from November 2013 to the end of August 2015. From October 15, 2015 to September 30, 2016, she played the role of Christine Daaé in the sequel Love Never Dies .
