Dimona radar system

The Dimona radar system is an airspace surveillance system in the Negev Desert , near the city of Dimona , Israel . The facility is designed to warn Israel of rocket attacks from Iran. It consists of two towers, each 400 meters high, the construction of which began at the end of 2008. The towers are said to be the tallest structures in Israel and at the same time the tallest radar surveillance towers in the world.
