Radio 200000 is a Swiss rap group that was founded in spring 2003. Its members include, in order of age:
- Redl aka Steve Stöckli ,
- Jet Domani aka Trump Puur ,
- Sgoing aka Okocha and Redeemed
- Krasseranz aka soul dog .
Founding history
The foundation emerged from the first official Hallygallyfication (HG party) in 2003. After drawing attention to themselves with numerous appearances, they recorded their first album in 2005. But even before Radio 200000, some of the members were active in the rap scene: From 1991 to 1998, Redl and Jet Domani belonged to the band Primitive Lyrics , one of the first Swiss rap bands.
Name and texts
The name of the band can be traced back to the Südkurven forum, which stands for the support of FC Zurich . 200000 stands for the number that a leader calls out during an FCZ match, to which the fans respond with “Goals!”. Radio stands for the mouthpiece or an amplifier. The band's lyrics are about their everyday work. They sing about Zurich , "because we live here", about women, "because we love them" and about the FCZ, "because everyone needs an outlet to everyday life ..."
Discography
The LP Installation (2005) and Current Hits (2008) as well as the Remix LP Stückwerk have been released since its foundation . Her biggest hits include pants and disco shit and earwigs In Huus , Händ ue and ovulation .
