Radio Augsburg is a radio broadcaster for the Augsburg region with headquarters in the media house at Augsburg Cathedral . The station can be received with a DAB + receiver as well as in the cable network on the frequency 104.05 MHz and via the Internet.
Broadcasting
The local radio started in February 2000 on DAB in the Augsburg L-Band. Since the distribution situation was very bad, Radio Augsburg switched to Volume III. The station is operated by the shareholders proFMmedia (55%) and Mediengruppe Sankt Ulrich Verlag (45%).
Program and broadcasts
Every working day between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m., Radio Augsburg broadcasts local news, event information, cultural tips, economic information and local topics from the various areas in the moderated programs “Guten Morgen Augsburg”, “Augsburg Extra”, “Der Tag” and “80s vor 8” Economy, politics, church and culture. World news is available around the clock on the hour. The music consists of hits from four decades ( soft AC format ).
