Radio Malta

Radio Malta ( Maltese : Radju Malta ) is the broadcasting division of the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) , Malta's public radio and television broadcaster .

Radju Malta's roots go back to 1935. A cable radio system has been operated on the island by the British company Rediffusion since this year .

Radju Malta broadcasts two full programs and a partial program: the word and entertainment program Radju Malta in Maltese (from 6 a.m. to shortly after midnight) and also in Maltese Radju Malta 2 (only a few hours a day); also Magic Malta , an almost entirely musical entertainment program with English-speaking moderation.

Radju Malta is broadcast on an FM transmitter on 93.7 MHz and a medium wave transmitter on 999 kHz. Radio Malta can be received via the medium wave frequency in southern Europe in the evenings. The program is also streamed. Radju Malta 2 broadcasts on FM 105.9 MHz and Magic Malta on FM 91.7 MHz.
