Radio St. Lucia was a public radio broadcaster in St. Lucia on Morne Castries , which operated from 1972 to 2017. Initially, the station was the only one on the island. The program was a mix of news, music and talk. The station was originally run by the government of St. Lucia but was later privatized and closed on July 31, 2017 due to tax debts and unprofitability. St. Lucia currently has 92.3 Liberty FM , Real Strong Radio , Hot Caribbean FM , Fire Online Radio and UnityFM St Lucia radio stations .
