Radio Televisyen Malaysia ( RTM ) is a state broadcaster in Malaysia founded on April 1, 1946 .

The previous name was Radio Malaya . It operates a number of radio and television channels, including eight national radio stations, 16 state-level and 2 television stations. From 1987 to 2004, the station's motto was Teman Setia Anda ( Your Loyal Friend ). The television market share is 17%.
