Rafael Meran
Rafael Adolfo German Merán is a Dominican track and road cyclist.
Rafael Merán won the Pre-Vuelta Independencia and a stage in the Vuelta a la Independencia Nacional in 2006 . The next year he won the bronze medal in the team pursuit at the Pan American Championship in Valencia on the track. On the road, he won two stages at the Copa Cero de Oro, where he was also first overall. He also won a part of the Vuelta al Valle del Cibao and he was Dominican runner-up in the time trial. In 2008 Merán won the one-day race Batalla 30 de Marzo.
