Rafael Miguel

Rafael Henrique Miguel (born July 9, 1996 in São Paulo ; † June 9, 2019 there ) was a Brazilian actor.

Live and act

Rafael Miguel was the son of João Alcisio and Miriam Selma Miguel and had two sisters.

He became known in 2006 through a commercial . In it he played a child in a shop that asked his mother for broccoli . He later made numerous appearances in series and TV films on Brazilian television, making him known primarily among young people. Before he was murdered, he was last scheduled for the planned series Patinho Feio .

Rafael Miguel and his parents were murdered on June 9, 2019 and buried on June 10, 2019 in the Cemitério Campo Grande in southern São Paulo.

Rafael's eighteen-year-old friend Isabela Tibcherani, with whom he had been in a relationship for about a year and a half, suffered from depression and was pregnant by him. His girlfriend's father, businessman Paulo Cupertino Matias, arranged a meeting with Rafael and his parents to discuss the future of the relationship.

On June 9, 2019, Rafael and his parents were shot dead in front of the house of his girlfriend's parents in the Pedreira district (São Paulo); presumably from Paulo Matias. A total of thirteen shots were fired. Seven of them met Rafael, four his father and two his mother. Paulo Matias fled after the murder.

The murder case caused horror across Brazil, especially among fans of the series and telenovelas. Numerous Brazilian celebrities commented on the actor's murder.
