from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The framework regulation on German language examinations for studying at German universities (RO-DT) is a legal act (a framework regulation) of the University Rectors' Conference and the Conference of Ministers of Education on the linguistic study ability of applicants to study at a German university .

The framework regulations regulate the German language test for admission to higher education (DSH) and the test of German as a foreign language (TestDaF), which serve to prove that applicants who are not native speakers have the necessary German language skills to study at a university in Germany . The framework was adopted with the resolution of the 202nd plenary session of the University Rectors' Conference on June 8, 2004 and with the resolution of the Conference of Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs on June 25, 2004.
