Raimund Hinko

Raimund Hinko (* 1951 ) is a German sports journalist and book author.

From 1988 to 2011, Hinko was editor-in-chief of the Munich office of the weekly magazine Sport Bild . His preferred topic was reporting on FC Bayern Munich . For several years he also wrote a column in the daily newspaper Die Welt . In October 2011, Hinko was officially bid farewell to Sport Bild .

As a book author, he published two books about FC Bayern and a biography about Karl-Heinz Rummenigge in the 1980s .

Hinko is said to have good personal relationships with many former and current FC Bayern players. His long-standing friendship with Lothar Matthäus is well known .
