The Rainbow Falls is a waterfall at Rainbow Creek in Chelan County in the State of Washington . The waterfall is located in the middle of Lake Chelan National Recreation Area in the North Cascades National Park near Stehekin . The fall falls over 392 ft (119 m) in two stages. The highest step falls into a basin over 312 ft (95 m).
The waterfall is accessible from a number of hiking trails maintained by the National Park Service . It is easily visible from Stehekin Valley Road. During the summer months, the National Park Service provides a shuttle service from Stehekin Dock to Rainbow Falls.
