tourism

Many recreational activities at or near Eagle Falls typically take place in the summer. Just below the falls, the river flows into a huge, deep, green pool. People come here to swim on hot days. The fact that cliffs rise up to 60 ft (18 m) high at the edge of the pool and there is also a rope swing make the area all the more popular.

The waterfall is occasionally taken down by kayak experts. It is classified as a fast fall in class 5+ and should only be used by extremely experienced athletes. It was already the scene of a failed attempt.
