Rainer Gassner (born July 31, 1958 ) is a former Liechtenstein luge rider .
Career
Gassner competed in the single-seater race at the 1976 Winter Olympics , but could not finish the race. At the 1980 Winter Games , in addition to the single-seater, where he finished 13th, he also competed in the double-seater with Wolfgang Schädler . The duo finished the race in 16th place.
In 1988 he traveled to the Olympic Winter Games in Calgary, Canada, to supervise Peter Beck .
