Ralf Strogies

Ralf Strogies (born September 18, 1966 in Eisenberg ) is a former German soccer player and current soccer coach.

Career

The defender, who was also used as a defensive midfielder, began his career in 1973 as a youth at BSG Stahl Eisenberg before moving to FC Carl Zeiss Jena in 1982 . In 1989 he played for BSG Elektronik Lobenstein and in 1990 for BSG Chemie Ilmenau , before moving to Hassia Bingen in the Oberliga Südwest in the same year . In 1991 he joined Eintracht Braunschweig and in 1992 moved to TSV 1860 Munich, with whom he rose from the Bayern League to the Bundesliga. In the 1994/95 season Strogies played 19 Bundesliga games for the Lions. In his total of 92 second division games, he scored 5 goals.

From 1996 to 1997 he played for the Stuttgarter Kickers and in 2000 he ended his career at FC Millwall . Short appearances at the regional division TSV Wolfschlugen and the regional division FC Heilbronn II followed.

Then he was still active as a trainer at TSV Wolfschlugen and SV 03 Tübingen . Until June 30, 2009 he coached the U19 team of the Stuttgarter Kickers. Then he ended his coaching career.
