Rallye International du Valais
The Rallye International du Valais is a motorsport event in the canton of Valais . It has already been recognized by several international events such as B. the Intercontinental Rally Challenge , ERC European Rally Championship and SRM Swiss Rally Championship. In 2010 it took place during the ERC and the Swiss Rally Championship.
The first rally was held in 1960 and was then still called Le 1er Comptoir de Martigny. In 1985 the rally got its current name Rallye International du Valais .
Traditionally, the rally takes place on the last weekend in October and thus concludes one of the highlights in Swiss motorsport. The special stages take place between 400 m above sea level. M and 1800 m above sea level M and thus represent an interesting backdrop for drivers and spectators.
The winner of the Rallye International du Valais in 2010 was Luca Rossetti in his Abarth Grande Punto S2000
