Life
Ramūnas Birštonas completed his master's degree in law and received his doctorate in 2007 on the subject of Duomenų bazių teisinė apsauga at the Mykolo Romerio universitetas (MRU). He heads the Institute of Civil Justice as Director at the MRU in Vilnius . He worked as an advisor to the chairman of the Department of Civil Matters at Lietuvos Aukščiausiasis Teismas . He has been teaching at the Law Faculty since 2003 and is now a professor at the MRU. From 2003 to 2004 he was a civil servant at Kalėjimų departamentas. He works as a lawyer in the law firm "Raulynaitis, Žemkauskienė ir partneriai".
