Ramirez (band)

Ramirez is an Italian project in the field of electronic dance music and is considered a representative of typical early 1990s dance / techno with Spanish singing.

It consists of the Italian producers Davide Rizzatti, Elvio Moratto, Ricki Persi and the Colombian singer and performer Alex Quiroz Buelvas. It was originally created as a music project on the DFC label .

The most famous tracks by Ramirez are: La musica tremenda , Baraonda , Bomba , Orgasmico , Mamasutra , Terapia , El Gallinero , Hablando (with Pizarro) and Chupa Chupa . These are now included on many techno and dance compilations (such as Thunderdome or Techno Traxx), and even today you can often find many samples from these songs in modern dance songs. La musica tremenda became a dance floor hit in 1991 and is now one of the most famous techno classics.

The track Bomba appeared in the Swiss charts in 1994 and reached number 23. A video clip was also released for the track El Gallinero . The track Acelerando , which was released in 2002, made it into the top 10 of the German dance charts.
