The Ramit nature reserve is located in Tajikistan northeast of Dushanbe in the Nohijahoi tobei dschumhurij . It covers 16,139 hectares of mountain landscape. A nearby village is Sarvo .
The snow leopard occurs in the reserve. In addition, the Tajik screw goat ( Capra falconeri heptneri ) is bred in enclosures in the reserve and is currently being released back into the wild.
