Rammers

The rammer is the male animal of the rabbit and rabbit family . The female counterpart is the zibbe or rabbit.

The word Rammler is very likely derived from the Old High German Ram , which in turn meant ram or goat ( Ramme is also related to it). A connection with ramming in the sense of jostling, pushing , z. B. the hall is packed (jostled) full , is also possible.
