As doe the females of the family are hares and rabbits as well as goats and sheep , respectively. Rammler is the male name for bunnies and rabbits .

The young female sheep are therefore sometimes also referred to as cibble lambs . Grimm's German dictionary lists the term as "bitch, more often female young animal or female of smaller domestic and field animals" and means that it is a word form corresponding to the nd.
