Rammsfehn

Rammsfehn is a district of Wiesmoor in the Aurich district in East Frisia . It is the second youngest district of Wiesmoor and was laid out in the 1930s on both sides of Oldenburger Strasse ( Landesstrasse 12). The district was named after Eberhard Ramm , State Secretary in the Prussian Ministry of Agriculture. The colonist district was laid out for the workers of the peat power plant of the northwest German power plants . Until the Second World War, Rammsfehn consisted of 13 semi-detached and eight single houses, but after the war it grew through the settlement of displaced people .
