Ramona Suresh

Ramona Suresh (born August 27, 1985 in Ludwigsburg ) is a German theater actress.

Life

During her school days at the Mörike-Gymnasium in Ludwigsburg, Ramona Suresh gained experience at the theater as a performer in youth play clubs at the Stuttgart State Theater and the Stuttgart Young Ensemble. She also took acting lessons from Marla Levenstein. After graduating from high school in 2006, she was a member of Theater Total in Bochum, which she dropped out early because she had passed the entrance exam at the drama school. In 2007 she began studying at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen, which she completed in April 2011 with an Artist Diploma in Physical Theater. During this time she played at the Hessisches Landestheater Marburg, at the Bad Gandersheim Cathedral Festival and at the Aalto Theater in Essen.

From 2011 to 2013 she was a permanent member of the ensemble at the Stadttheater Bremerhaven. There she played u. a. directed by Lee Beagley, Christian Müller and Kevin E. Osenau. This was followed by a permanent engagement at the theater of the city of Aalen from 2013 to 2015, where she a. a. Directed by Robert Teufel, Yüksel Yolcu and Ruth Messing starred.

She has been working as a freelance actress since September 2015. Since then she was u. a. at the Theater Baden-Baden, at the Oldenburg State Theater and at the Landesbühne Niedersachsen Nord .

In addition to her acting activities, she has been the director of youth play clubs and acting seminars since 2012 and a lecturer at the TASK drama school since 2015. In 2014 she also published the piece Yolo! You only live once at Cantus Verlag and in 2015 you are staging the piece Höhenrauschen .
