Rank choice
Any electoral process in which voters rank candidates or options according to their preference can be referred to as rank election or ranking . Such voting procedures include:
- Borda election
- Bucklin election
- Condorcet method
- Coombs election
- Instant runoff voting , voting with integrated runoff voting (a type of preferential election )
- Ranked pairs
- Schulze method
All such voting procedures are subject to the Arrow theorem .
