Räntz
Räntz is the family name of several sculptors:
- Elias Räntz (1649–1732) came from Regensburg and from around 1680 worked primarily for the Margraves of Bayreuth
- Johann David Räntz the Elder , builder, son of Elias Räntz
- Johann Gabriel Räntz , sculptor, son of Elias Räntz
- Johann David Räntz (1729–1783), grandson of Elias Räntz
- Johann Lorenz Wilhelm Räntz (1733–1776), grandson of Elias Räntz
The latter two are often referred to as the "Räntz Brothers". After the end of the Margrave period in Bayreuth, they worked in Berlin and Potsdam.
