Raschid Borispijewitsch (Borissowitsch) Temresow ( Karachay-Balkar : Темирезланы Борисбийни джашы Рашид; * March 14, 1976 in Cherkessk , Karachay-Cherkessia Autonomous Region, RSFSR , and part of the Russian Karachian Republic head of the Russian Karachay-Cherkessia, RSFSR , USSR since February 26, 2011) -Cherkessia . He is a member of the Supreme Council of the ruling United Russia party .

Career

Temresov graduated from Moscow Open Social University with a degree in management (other sources say "Finance and Credit") . Since 2004 he has worked as the general secretary of the state institution “Administration of Capital Construction of the Republic of Karachay-Cherkessia” and was also a member of the Republican Competition Commission. In 2007 Temresov was elected chairman of the regional division of the Just Russia party.

In 2009 Temresov was included in the Russian President's personnel reserve. In 2011 he was appointed interim president of the Republic of Karachay-Cherkessia by Dmitry Medvedev . A few days later, the people's assembly of the republic officially confirmed his nomination. After a constitutional amendment in April of the same year, the highest official title in Karachay-Cherkessia was renamed from “President” to “Head”.

In February 2016, Russian President Vladimir Putin reaffirmed Temresov as head of the Karachay-Cherkessia Republic.

Temresow is married and has 4 children.
