Town hall of Neunkirchen

The Neunkirchen town hall of the city of Neunkirchen in Lower Austria is located at Hauptplatz 1.

The original previous building was built between 1889 and 1891 on the south-eastern front of the main square in a late historical style. In 1945 the complex fell victim to a fire. From 1948 to 1950, a three-story town hall was rebuilt according to the plans of the architect Leo Kammel to the same extent as the previous building. The building with a double gable facade carries a facade tower. The monumental sgraffito decor for industry and trade and the granting of market rights and minting rights in 1150 was painted by the painters Fritz Weninger and Karl Steiner .
