The Vorsfelde town hall in the Wolfsburg district of Vorsfelde in Lower Saxony is a two-storey half - timbered house built around 1830 . After being used as a hotel , it housed the town hall of Vorsfelde in the 20th century . Today it houses an administrative office for the city of Wolfsburg.

The listed building has a symmetrical facade and has a central entrance with an outside staircase . Around 1900 it was used as a hotel and was named Braulkes Hotel . It was later renamed Vorsfelder Hof and existed as a hotel until at least 1935. Presumably after the Second World War , it became the town hall of the 1955 independent town of Vorsfelde. After the town was incorporated into the city of Wolfsburg in 1972, the town hall became an administrative center with a district library.

Since 1952, a real heraldic animal has stood as a stuffed boar in a showcase in the town hall. The animal was shot by the then mayor Max Valentin in Drömling .
