Roughness (image editing)
In image processing, roughness is a property of textures . The roughness can be determined using several different methods and algorithms, the accuracy of which may depend on the available imagery.
Methods for detecting roughness include:
- Variance
- Gray value matrix (co-occurrence)
- Fractal dimension
