Rauthgundis

Rauthgundis is an Old High German female given name (variants: Rautgundis, Rauthgunde, Radegunde, diamond). It is composed of the syllables council for advice and gund for combat together. Rauthgundis is a minor character in the novel A Battle for Rome by the lawyer and writer Felix Dahn , published in 1876 , who is married to Witichis and has their son Athalwin.
