Ravelin Ridge is a mountain ridge on Clarence Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It extends with north-south orientation almost over the entire length of the island.
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1971 as part of the UK Joint Services Expedition (1970-1971) after its resemblance to a Ravelin .
