Raven (booklet)
Raven is the name of a horror series by Wolfgang Hohlbein .
It first appeared from 1981 to 1984 as a sub-series in the ghost crime thriller . From 1993 Raven was reissued in Demon Land . The novel "The Spider Plague", published again in 1996, was the last novel in the Demon Land series. The 12th novel in the series was rewritten as an independent booklet series in 2003 by Frank Rehfeld based on ideas from Karl-Ulrich Burgdorf and Wolfgang Hohlbein.

The main character of the series is the London private investigator Raven. He and his companion Inspector Card do not initially believe in the supernatural. But they have to give up this attitude in the fight against the Shadow Riders. Raven specializes in mysterious cases. In the further course of the series they have to save the world from magicians, the undead and from the demon race, the Thul Saduun.
