Razi University
The Razi University ( Persian دانشگاه رازی) is a state university in the city of Kermanshah in western Iran . It bears the name of the Persian scientist, writer and philosopher Al-Razi .
The university was founded in 1972 and today has six faculties ( natural sciences , humanities , agricultural sciences , engineering , sports , veterinary medicine ) with a total of around 9,000 students.
