Razumovsky quartets
Rasumowski Quartets (Op. 59) refers to the following string quartets by Ludwig van Beethoven, named after the Russian music patron Rasumowski :
- String Quartet No. 7 (F major) op. 59 No. 1, see 7th String Quartet (Beethoven) ;
- String Quartet No. 8 (E minor) op. 59 No. 2, see 8th String Quartet (Beethoven) ;
- String Quartet No. 9 (C major) op. 59 No. 3, see 9th String Quartet (Beethoven) .
The quartets are a high point in Beethoven's compositional work.
