Re-Flex was a British new wave band. It was founded at the beginning of the 1980s at the height of the New Romantic wave.

history

The band's music and style were heavily influenced by artists such as Heaven 17 , Gary Numan and David Bowie . The only big hit of their career was Re-Flex with their single The Politics of Dancing . The song first conquered radio stations, clubs and hit parades in the USA in the fall of 1983. He was shortlisted for the soundtrack of the producers of the teenage film Footloose . With some delay, the single entered the charts in her home country in early 1984. The band was unable to build on this success. After recording a second album, they broke up in 1985.

In 2010 the band released a box with six CDs on their website, which, in addition to the first album, contains the second work "Humanication", which was not published by EMI, as well as other remix and rarity CDs.
