Reaction vessel

In the chemical laboratory or the chemical industry , reaction vessel is a container in which a chemical reaction is carried out. This is not a fixed term, so very different vessels are referred to as such. For example, the sizes range from microreaction vessels that hold a few microliters , to glow boats for a few milliliters, to stirred kettles with numerous cubic meters of volume. The most important characteristic of every reaction vessel is its resistance to the reaction conditions. Simple multi-neck flasks or sulphonation flasks are mostly used in the laboratory . For example, autoclaves are used for higher pressures or temperatures .
