The Real Time Train Information System ( RTTIS for short ) is an automatic announcement system for Dutch public transport .

The latest version of RTTIS from 2011 is used to equip trains of the Nederlandse Spoorwegen with an automatic announcement system so that the station name is announced in the train when entering a station. RTTIS is the smaller version of the OBIS system. It is used in intercity and stop routes. The system includes all station names in the Netherlands and additional information about transfer options, etc.

The RTTIS outputs the information based on route information and GPS . It was developed by JAHULS-electronica .

purpose

The purpose of RTTIS is to provide passengers with the necessary station information.
